OUR CARE
The idea of caring for the local environment accompanied us from the very beginning, when the first assumptions about the Szczawnica Park Resort & Spa Hotel ***** were made. The design of the building fits in with its surroundings, refers to the local buildings and does not dominate the landscape. During construction, we consciously selected technological solutions that limit the negative impact on our surroundings. We introduce ecological solutions in our daily work and encourage our guests to act together to protect the environment.
LET'S BE (ECO)LOGICAL
Every day, we encourage Guests to get involved by making small decisions about their stay that can have a big impact on environmental protection on a Resort-wide scale.
Hotel rooms are cleaned daily during their stay, if in the Guests' opinion this is not necessary they can opt out of this service that day. In this way we reduce the use of chemicals, water, energy which has a positive impact on the environment.
Linen and towels can also be changed on request.
We try to make our breakfasts very varied and exceptionally tasty, as they are the start of a good day. Every day during the buffet breakfasts, we raise awareness and ask for joint action to reduce food waste. On the tables in the restaurant, our guests will find a request - take as much as you eat, you can always come back for more, and in this way together we will reduce food waste. In addition, each of our guests can take away their favourite delicacies for later, after finishing breakfast. To do so, please ask the staff for a disposable box for 5zł.
We have limited the use of plastic bottles, cups and straws. Water in the rooms is served in our reusable glass bottles for guests to refill themselves. Other drinks served at the bars are purchased in glass bottles, which we collect and return to the manufacturer. Our staff are equipped with reusable aluminium bottles which they fill with water to drink. We have replaced plastic straws and cups for hot drinks to take away with paper ones.
Guests can use two electric car chargers in our hotel car park. We encourage you to travel ecologically!
THE (ECO)NOMY OF THE HOTEL
We choose state-of-the-art green technological solutions that also have subsequent economic significance for the hotel.
We mainly rely on renewable energy. Part of our electricity production is provided by photovoltaic cells located on the roof of the hotel. Alongside these are solar collectors with a total output of 78 kW, which we use to heat domestic water and the swimming pool.
Heating of the facility is provided by modern condensing gas cookers, assisted by Klima convectors distributed both in the common areas and in the residential units. The facility is equipped with a mechanical ventilation system with cross-flow heat exchangers with a high heat recovery coefficient.
Throughout the building, we use 98% LED lighting, which is the most energy-efficient solution currently available on the market.
The hotel segregates waste and we ensure that everything we can is recycled.
